A tall cantilevered blade portal tilts above the roofline to frame a double-height arched entrance, colossal fluted pilasters running two storeys to either side — this MBR City villa sets one sculptural modern gesture at the centre of a symmetrical New Classic face, crisp white render glowing under warm cove light at dusk.

MBR City, one of the prestigious master communities of Dubai, gives ALGEDRA the setting for a villa conceptualized in a transitional register that carries classical bones and a bold modern centre. The elevation holds strict symmetry across a wide frontage, two storeys of crisp white render, matched wings framing a dramatic entrance at the middle.

A tall cantilevered blade portal defines the composition. The angular frame rises above the parapet and tilts forward around the double-height entrance, its recessed reveal lit by a warm cove that draws the eye up the full height of the centre. Set within it, a slim arched entrance carries a tall vertical geometric screen in dark metal, a light Gulf-classical note threaded through the modern gesture, with dark glazing behind.

Colossal fluted pilasters rise the full two storeys to either side, framing the wings and the central portal in a strong vertical rhythm, their shafts capped by moulded cornices that run the width of the elevation. Full-height glazing in slim black frames fills the bays across both floors, curtained and set deep in the render, the dark glass reading cleanly against the pale masonry.

First-floor balconies open on each wing behind glass balustrades, their slim profiles keeping the frontage crisp, while the flat roofline and squared massing hold the design calm around its sculptural centre. Panelled surfaces and moulded reveals lend the render a subtle relief, the detail restrained so the blade portal commands attention without competition.

The dusk view brings the architecture to life. Warm cove and uplighting graze the pilasters, reveals and portal from below, so the white façade glows against the blue evening and the tall entrance frame reads as a lit vertical event. Clipped topiary marks the entrance stair, and a luxury saloon stands in the forecourt, staged for arrival.

White render and pale stone give the villa its unifying calm, the classical structure pared to clean lines and lit to model every reveal, the modern portal supplying the gesture that names the character. The result is contemporary architecture of quiet confidence — symmetrical in plan, classical in its framing, and sharpened at the centre by a single sculptural stroke that carries the whole elevation upward.
