Algedra's Faradis Tower Wins Two Arabian Property Awards for Residential Architecture in Sharjah
11/6/2026
A white lattice of eight-pointed stars, a 50-storey glass shaft above the Al Mamzar shoreline, and now two architecture honours from the Arabian Property Awards 2026–2027.
We are proud to share that Faradis Tower, the residential high-rise our architects designed in Sharjah, has won two categories at the Arabian Property Awards 2026–2027, presented in association with CNBC Arabia. The judges named the tower Best Residential High Rise Architecture Sharjah and Best Architecture Multiple Residence Sharjah, a double win for a single building and a proud moment for the whole Algedra team.
Recognition from an Independent Jury
The Arabian Property Awards run as the regional chapter of the International Property Awards, and an independent panel of industry experts scores every entry on design, quality, originality and sustainability. Faradis Tower now joins the official 2026–2027 winners list for Arabia in two architecture categories.
Old Damascus on the Sharjah Skyline
Our design began with the carved screens and courtyard homes of Damascus. We wrapped the five podium levels in a perforated white skin of interlocking stars, lit from within at night so the base of the tower glows along the street. The pattern filters the Gulf sun and cools the podium, while tall windows across the 50 residential floors bring daylight deep into each apartment.
Residents arrive through a lobby of crystal chandeliers, patterned ceilings and an indoor garden, then rise to a landscaped rooftop with a swimming pool and lounge terraces facing the sea. You can see the façade, lobby and rooftop in detail on the Faradis Tower project page.
A Word from Our CEO
"Faradis Tower carries a piece of Damascus into a modern skyline, and seeing the jury honour it twice fills our whole team with pride," says Mohab Ayoub, CEO of Algedra Group. "We set out to design a tower that families feel at home in the moment they step into the lobby, with heritage in every surface and light in every room. Our architects poured years of research into that façade, and these awards belong to them."
A Shared Win
We dedicate both awards to the architects, engineers and designers who shaped Faradis Tower from the first sketch, and to the partners who trusted us with it. The recognition strengthens our commitment to residential tower architecture rooted in regional craft and built for contemporary family life.
