What a Facade Renovation Covers

A building facade upgrade ranges from a refreshed render to a complete new stone skin. Our scope covers:

Re-cladding: facade cladding replacement, stripping dated finishes and applying stone, composite, or GRC across the elevation.

Glazing upgrades: larger openings, floor-to-ceiling glass, and thermally improved units for a brighter, cooler interior.

Facade lighting retrofit: architectural lighting added to an existing elevation, so the building holds presence after dark.

How a Renovation Runs

Exterior facade renovation across the UAE runs on tighter constraints than new build, and the process respects them. A condition survey records the wall, the fixings, and the load it can carry. Concept and material selection follow, matched to the structure and the look you want. Facade works needing municipality or community approval are documented and cleared by our engineers. Installation is staged to keep the building usable throughout, with the elevation revealed section by section.

Materials for a Retrofit

Choosing materials the existing wall can carry is what makes or breaks a facade makeover in Dubai. Where the structure allows, we clad in low-absorption limestone, travertine, or quartzite — the same stones we specify for new elevations — chosen to hold colour through heat and sun.

Where load is a constraint, exterior renovation and re-cladding turns to lightweight composite panels and GRC, which carry the look of stone and cast fine ornament at a fraction of the weight.

An aging facade upgrade often gains the most from architectural lighting, added late in the programme to draw depth and shadow from a surface read flat before.
