A villa turned on warm walnut and book-matched marble — a sculptural cream staircase trailing a spiral of gilded rings and crystal, kinetic bronze sculpture in the majlis, and children's rooms set beneath fibre-optic star ceilings.

A warmer palette carries this house — walnut, brown-veined marble and travertine lit by crystal. The entrance rises the full double height around a sculptural staircase cast in cream plaster, its treads backlit along each riser and its base wrapped in a band of green marble, while a spiral chandelier of gilded rings and slender crystal rods cascades the whole way down. Two ivory bouclé tub chairs and a sculpted bonsai sit against pale oak panelling grooved with reveal lighting, the grey stone floor catching the glow. The interior was conceptualized for a home in the Master Views cluster of Jumeirah Islands, one of the city's established waterfront villa communities.

The main majlis holds the richest set-piece. Twin chandeliers of gilded leaves and amber glass hang over travertine walls and fluted plaster columns, and a kinetic bronze figure spinning a gold ring stands on a ribbed plinth beside a large arched mirror. Ivory bouclé armchairs curve around a bronze-based table topped in green marble, with potted palms and white magnolia stems softening the stone. The second reception carries a vast chandelier of clustered crystal spheres beneath arched walls of warm brown marble, a backlit bar niche set into one bay, green velvet and walnut tub chairs drawn around green-marble nesting tables, and tufts of pampas grass in tall vases.

The family sitting room drops into a sunken floor, a long channel-tufted sofa wrapping three sides around twin round tables in walnut and green marble, set on an abstract rug washed in mossy green; a glazed courtyard of bonsai and pebbles glows at one edge, and a bowl of fruit rests on the stone. The primary suite turns to walnut throughout, laid as a herringbone floor beneath a book-matched headboard panel of brown-and-cream marble, flanked by dark wardrobes inset with amber-onyx strips lit from within. A grey channel-tufted bed, a curved bouclé bench and a bronze-mirror walk-in displaying handbags complete the room, a sculptural lamp glowing on the nightstand.

The children's quarters bring a lighter mood under fibre-optic star ceilings scattered with points of light. One room pairs terracotta-orange cube shelving outlined in LED with a tan beanbag, a grey sofa dressed in chevron cushions and a circular geometric rug; its media companion frames a wall-hung television in the same warm shelving beneath a blue cove, set against a bold black-and-orange brushstroke canvas. The guest bedrooms keep the quieter line: one with paired abstract canvases, a fluted built-in vanity and a backlit mirror shelf above a bouclé bench; another layered in tonal geometric wallpaper with a slim black cone floor lamp, a channel-tufted bed, a terrazzo drum side table and a round jute rug underfoot.

Holding the whole villa together is the warmth of its materials: walnut and travertine, brown and green marble, gilded metal and crystal, each worked into a contemporary home that stays rich without ever turning heavy.
