A floating travertine staircase climbs over a planted water-garden lit by paper-lantern drops; a gold-ring chandelier and travertine fire wall anchor the living room, a falling-leaf ceiling sculpture drifts over a fluted taupe-leather headboard, and sphere pendants fall above a stone dining table — a warm contemporary villa interior in Garden Hall, Jumeirah Islands.

Garden Hall, a villa cluster of Jumeirah Islands in Dubai, holds a villa interior ALGEDRA has conceptualized across a double-height stair court, living, dining, kitchen and bedroom suites. Travertine, Canaletto oak, Calacatta and taupe leather carry the plan, cream, olive and caramel threaded from the reception hall to the private floors.

The stair court opens the home. A floating travertine staircase on a black steel stringer climbs past a book-matched stone wall, cove light tracing each tread, a planted water-garden of clipped trees set into a black reflecting bed at its foot. Textured paper-lantern pendants drop through the void, a travertine plinth stepping up from the pale stone floor.

The living room settles under light. Caramel-and-cream modular sofas gather on a layered rug facing a travertine fire wall with a linear fire and wall-mounted television, olive-and-grey tub chairs with brushed-brass frames and houndstooth poufs drawn alongside, a round black-and-white table cluster at the centre beneath a dark gold-ring chandelier, olive trees and full-height glazing opening to the garden and palms.

The formal dining room sits beneath the stair. A stone table on a sculpted oak base gathers curved grey-bouclé chairs on slim oak legs, a line of smoke-glass sphere pendants falling above, round black wall discs and an olive tree framing the setting against sheer-draped glazing.

The kitchen runs in white and travertine. Flat-fronted cabinetry lines the walls above a travertine splashback, glass-front upper cabinets on slim black frames carrying integrated LED, a book-matched granite island with a waterfall edge and caramel bar stools set for the breakfast run beneath smoke-glass pendants. The craftsmanship threads the firm's Jumeirah Islands work across the floors.

The master suite turns sculptural. A curved fluted taupe-leather headboard wall rises beneath a drifting falling-leaf ceiling installation, floating cantilevered nightstands and cove light flanking an upholstered bed dressed in olive and grey, a houndstooth pouf and Calacatta coffee table on the marble floor, an abstract canvas framing the lounge zone.

A second suite keeps the modern-luxe hand. A black fluted headboard panel with a linear light bar backs an oak-and-cream bed between slim wardrobes, a floating oak media console and dressing run with a backlit mirror opposite, an abstract canvas and olive-toned dressing lifting the greige palette.

The bathrooms finish in stone. A grey terrazzo-and-marble bath carries a fluted black vanity, LED-framed mirror and black fittings, a Calacatta-and-oak bath banking a floating vanity, backlit niche and rounded LED mirror beyond.

The reception hall completes the villa. Ginkgo-leaf relief walls rise beneath a gold-ring cluster chandelier and a paper-lantern drop, a sculptural petal-form console flanked by mustard velvet tub chairs and a planted tree framing the arrival over Calacatta flooring.

Travertine, oak, Calacatta and taupe leather give the villa its character, the ring chandeliers, paper lanterns and leaf sculpture carrying the organic-luxe register, the stair court and garden glazing holding the home to its greenery. The result reads as one serene, layered home — warm in material, sculptural in lighting, and complete from the water-garden stair to the reception hall.
